Your things live where they live.

Point, tap, talk.

A thing is captured in under five seconds. Its name, room and date can wait.

It starts with what you already have

Thingular looks through the photos on your device and brings you ten things a day. Keep, skip, or tell its story. Ten minutes a day, and your home fills up.

A stack of clay books

Rooms, not spreadsheets

Your things live where they live: the kitchen, the shelf, the attic. The inventory happens on its own, as a side effect of the stories.

Their voice, on their things

Record Mum telling the story of the clock. Dad on the record he bought in 1978. The transcript writes itself; the voice stays.

Walk through their home with them, one thing at a time. Every object is a question they will love answering. Send the stories to your brother and sister the same evening. They install nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Do my parents need the app?

No. You bring your iPhone to their home and record them on it. The story cards you send afterwards are plain videos, pictures and audio files that open in Messages or WhatsApp. They install nothing.

When can I try it?

The TestFlight opens in November and the App Store release follows in December. Leave your email on this page and the invite comes to you when the build is ready.

What is a thing?

One object: its photo, its name, the room it lives in, the people it is tied to, its stories, and when it entered your life. Only the photo is needed to start. The name, the room and the date can all come later.

Is there an Android version?

No. Thingular is made for iPhone, iPad and Mac. The story cards you send open on any phone, so the family does not need an iPhone to receive them.

Where is my data?

On your device, and in your own iCloud. Transcription and naming happen on the device. There is no Thingular account and no Thingular server holding your photos or your family’s voices.

What happens if I stop paying?

You keep reading and listening. Everything stays readable and playable, and you can export all of it at any time. Nothing is ever locked.

The first ten things take an evening.
